Greetings in the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Lady Christina and I are so thankful to have you visit in with us via the world wide web. We are praying that the choice blessings of God rest, rule and abide upon your life. It is not by accident or chance that you are here at Greater Faith's website. We believe that God has sent you here so that we may be an encouragement to you. Know this, that God has a masterful plan for your life and the bible declares that He which has begun a good work in you shall perform it until His appearing. Therefore, we should always keep in remembrance that the BEST that God has to offer is yet to come. Amen!

Meet First Lady Christina Taylor Jackson

Elect Lady Christina Taylor Jackson was born March 6, 1960 in Memphis Tennessee, the younger daughter born to Pastor Hudson Taylor Sr. and the late Missionary Mother Katherine Taylor.     God showed favor upon her life at an early age, healing her of spinal meningitis.

Christina is a 1977 graduate of Fairley High School in Memphis Tennessee graduating with honors, continuing her education in Business Management and Computer Science at State Technical Institute and special studies in theology at the AME Zion Leader’s Institute in Temple Hills Maryland;  Christina has completed her education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Theology December 19th 2009 and is presently working on her masters in Christian Studies.  She has received numerous regional awards, National honors, Humanitarian Service awards for her work and a recipient of several Business and Professional Women Federation Honors. 


Christina role in the church ministry began and developed at the Gospel Temple COGIC as a choir member under the leadership of presently Tennessee Fifth Jurisdiction the honorable Bishop Samuel Leon Lowe, Prelate.  She married the aspiring Minister Elder Eddie Jackson August 1977, in joining her husband she continued in christian service at Holy Temple COGIC accepting appointment under the Leadership of the late Bishop W. A. Patterson.

Christina gave to the union of her husband in July 1978 a son Kristopher Ray and later added to their union twin’s Kimberle Denise and Kenton Depri.  Their children are serving with their parent in the gospel ministry as church musicians. March 1985 she surrendered to a higher call of divine leadership March 1985, meeting the challenge with her husband to build the Lord a house known as Greater Faith Cathedral in Christ Inc.  Submitting in the following year to lead, supervise and maintain two church women department’s as they took on an added responsibility of pastoring the Holy Temple Spiritual Church, Memphis, Tennessee. 

Lady Christina at her local church has been entrusted with the responsibility of General Supervisor of Women affairs, Church Administrator, President of the D.O.D. Society (Leaders and Ministers Wives) and the higher role as Co-Pastor and C.E.O.  
With her Benevolent Arms Outreach, she has connections with Saint Jude Children Research Hospital in aid and resource at Greater Faith.  Through fundraising she has build and maintain a national and international home and foreign mission outreach to aid the suffering and needy worldwide.

Having a desire to establish excellence, restore  integrity among christian women and to be diverse in sound Christian teachings, she spend many hours in travel annually participating in seminars, teaching women enrichment classes,  and meeting leading christian women beyond denomination barriers.  Her mission ministry Quote “I’m Just a Servant” with a mission to revitalize the Basic Principles of Holy Living to be a leading lady in Christian Ministry, by being first an example of the teachings of our founding “Mother’s and Father’s in the gospel”, to encourage women of noble character to commit to serve their church and leader beyond the pew, being qualified and God approved, yet maintaining honor, with a meek and quiet spirit.

Pastoral Biography
"The Beginning"

Pastor Eddie Jackson born September 8, 1955 to William H. and Vivian Jackson in Fayette County Tennessee.  He became terminally ill at an early age and hospitalized in 1965 at Toby Children’s Hospital diagnosed with Leukemia.  His health continued to decline causing his medical condition to worsen.  The disease attacked his brain and would throw his body into epileptic (seizures), as his White Blood Cells increased destroying his Red Blood Cells.  His doctor suggested exploratory surgery with experimental drugs.  After his mother refused the medical professional advice the doctors gave him up and discharged him from the hospital. His mother continue to seek God’s help.  She heard of a church revival in progress conducted by evangelist Mother Hazel Neely, and God was performing Miracles of healings.  His mother visited the revival service the closing night afterwards. He was taken to her home at 575 East Mclemore during an intercessory prayer meeting.  There at Mother Hazel Neely’s home, she laid hands on him, prayed, and anointed him using the method as recorded in James 5:14-15.  That day the Lord healed, delivered, and set Pastor Eddie Jackson free.  Praise God for the courage of His Mother Vivian.   Greater Faith Membership yet experience the unwavering faith walk of Pastor Jackson, and he preaches the uncompromised Word of God.

November 01, 2002            Purchased and dedicated property located at 3555 Hazelhedge as                                          a church parsonage for the Pastor.  

October 01, 2004               Enlarged our Church Mission Ministry by obtaining the corner lot                                            property east of the church located at 2395 Drake as our Mission                                           Headquarters.
